Micro Housing Macro Impact

The Brief

Counterculture Campaign Proposal Pitch

Den Z was creating and utilising strategic thinking for affordable and viable housing solutions in mind for the youth of Australia.

The background behind this project stemmed from a passion to evolve and create a feasible design solution that could reflect a positive social change. The project aims to create a viable design solution for the lack of affordable housing options for youth, thereby mending interpersonal and generational relationships due to the negative stigma created by technology and social bias.

The concept involved utilising micro-housing to aid youth in finding affordable housing.

Micro housing provided the best option as it reduced the need for overspending on utilities and forced audience perspectives to consider what basic needs they wanted. For this approach to micro-housing, in-depth research and understanding were necessary to achieve a proper and non-biased perspective on the topic.
